FULLY SEWN FLAGS

Abel fully sewn flags are hand-appliquéd and display all the traditional elements of flag manufacture. Double stitching, reinforced corners, white jet cloth headings and crafted in the finest fabrics available, fully sewn flags are capable of withstanding greater flying stresses than their printed counterparts.

After preparing a pattern, the machinist appliqués the appropriate design and colours into the flag field. This multi-layering of heavy duty bunting significantly reinforces the flag, giving it a 3 dimensional effect. Fully sewn flags are ideally suited to applications of high flying stress and they can be laundered and repaired giving them a life up to 2 years.

SCREEN PRINTED FLAGS

Screen printing has revolutionized the manufacture of flags by bringing them into everyone's budget. Accessible to all Companies and individuals, flags have now become an accepted feature of point-of-sale merchandising, image building, corporate identity and as always, national pride.

Screen printed flags are available in knitted or woven polyester flag bunting. These polyesters are printed with bright, high definition, colour-fast dyes which are then baked into the fabric at high temperature.
Contrary to most screen printing, the printing of flags requires particular specialist knowledge and a number of post-printing steps to ensure a consistent and superior quality.

DIGITAL PRINTED FLAGS

A quick and fast method of producing small run of flags on a light weight trilobel or poly knitted fabric we can produce full colour photo images on flags with this method of manufacturing flags but the fabric is not as long lasting outdoors as poly woven fabric used in screen printed flags and is also more expensive to produce have fast turn around times.
These have a 100% ink to the front and at the back 70-80% bleed through.

PVC VINYL BANNERS

At Able we also produce high quality pvc vinyl banners any size. We can manufacture and also using a digital printing pvc banner are great for use on buildings on walls inside and outside. All are uv treated and all are very hard wearing and come with rope and eyelets for hanging banners.
They are quite inexpensive to produce and have fast turn around times.

Frayless fly end

At Abel we have developed a special fly end that can be added to any flag to extend the life of your flag. By adding a frayless end to your flag it slows down the movement of your flag and the end works like an indicator, when this wears out to about 20 - 30 mm from the end. Bring your flag back to us and starting at $ 12.50, we can attach another end to extend it's life further.
